After a lengthy legislative process, the GDPR is finally ready. As the most significant overhaul of data privacy laws in Europe in twenty years, it will have a profound impact on companies active within the EU but also on non EU organizations that receive personal information from Europe.
This course will provide an overview of the new legal framework relating to data privacy and the actions to be taken in order to comply with the new Regulation.

Graduated from ULB and Leicester University (UK), Dimitri started his career as a lawyer in 2001.
Dimitri practices corporate law by advising his clients in various domains: shareholders agreements, implementation, acquisitions, sales, liability of the board of directors, etc. He acts in various contractual aspects as well as in commercial litigation or arbitration, and IT matters (privacy law and IT contractual aspects).
He is a member of the “e-Barreau” Commission at the Brussels law society (French and German speaking). Dimitri also teaches within the Executive Program in Retail and Distribution Management at the Solvay Business School since 2012.
